Donald Napier has been active in the publishing business for 35 years, as a sports writer, editor, publisher, owner and consultant. Since 1995 he has owned and operated Napier Media Services, a Crossville-based publishing and marketing firm. He published the weekly resort publication, The Fairfield Glade Vista until selling it in 2002. Since 2004, he has published Crossville Life, a lifestyle magazine.

He also worked as a national newspaper consultant, specializing in on-site evaluations for troubled publications; and staff assessment. As a seminar speaker, he conducted sales training workshops for press associations and newspaper groups, previously publishing Back to the Basics, a companion booklet for his sales training workshops. He has also written national magazine articles on new revenue producing ideas for the newspaper industry.

In 1995 he wrote a book, "How To Run For Political Office." He continues to work as a political consultant, having had success in many local, regional, and state races.

Today he stays busy with Crossville Life. He also writes a food blog, "Crossville Food Finds," which can be accessed on his website, www.CrossvilleLifeOnline.com

He is a member of Crossville Civitan Club and was formerly active with the Crossville Exchange Club and WCTE-TV, where he served on the advisory council for 16 year.

He enjoys golf and doing family activities. He and wife Natalie are the parents of teenage daughters, Lyndi and Laura Li. They live in the Cumberland Homesteads. He and his family worship at Main Street Church of Christ.
